Welcome to the civilian world! :coffeetime:
You were the chosen one. It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them. You were to bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness.

Ditto to what Warhorse said. In todays security environment, I don't doubt a man of your talents will be sought after. Your comment about your work being boring really struck a cord with me. The only time I really knew a lot of CT's was when I was lead OS on the Midway. Once in a while one of you cats would come to us and say "This is what we know, but we can't tell you how". Ranks right up there with "I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you". That whole thing makes your line of work sound anything but boring.

In any event, good luck and don't be a stranger to our group.

Damn Spook, how long will it be before No Such Agency gives you a call :popcornsmilie:

Boats, who is both sorry and glad to see you retire after 20 years of honorable service to our nation.

@ Buddha - Heh heh, I was on the Midway during Team Spirit '88. I worked in Supplot so Im sure I did the same thing...

@JC - They're working on it :-)

Thanks to everybody who commented. I was extremely proud to continue in the tradition of my dad (CTMCM) and am looking forward to working w/ all the people I know down here.

I left the Midway at the end of '84 for shore duty up on The Hill here in S.D. I rememeber Supplot for sure, though. There was a Chief CT named Thigpen aboard who'd been there since Noah and was still there when I left. Maybe you met him? Son of a Master Chief, huh? There's a family's contribution to service. My Mother and Father were both in line at the Navy Recruiter's office on Dec. 8 of '41, but neither made it a career as I did. The caliber of the people in this group continues to impress me.
